The US states of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho can all say that a little bit of Yellowstone sits within its borders.
Thiking about it, there's probably a little bit of yellow stone in quite a few American states. There's even a tiny bit of yellow stone currently stuck in my shoe...
But this is Yellowstone National Park, this is the world's oldest national park (1873), and it's nothing short of spectacular.
It’s so spectacular, in fact, that Lonely Planet have just placed it third in their Best Places to Visit in the US list. It's so spectacular that facts about its size, shape or substance don't quite get the facts across!
